Gamma
Spectroscopy
RSSI
analyzes environmental, commercial and research material for
radiation using high resolution gamma spectroscopy.
Using this system RSSI can identify the type and quantity of naturally occurring and man-made radionuclides in
a sample.
The
high resolution gamma spectroscopy system is used to test samples
such as: soil containing naturally occurring or man-made
radionuclides; vegetation, foodstuffs and raw materials from
Chernobyl; water and sludge from water treatment facilities; components of
building materials; and environmental samples from fossil and
nuclear power plants.
Gamma
spectroscopy samples are analyzed and reports are available within
5 business days of the sample arriving in our lab. As with
all of RSSI’s laboratory services, expedited turnaround is
available.
