Test Services
Most
radioactive materials licenses require that sealed sources be leak
tested every six months. RSSI provides accurate sealed
source leak testing on our automated, low-background internal
proportional planchette counter. Leak tests are analyzed
within 5 business days of being received in our lab and the results can
be faxed or emailed in addition to the hard copy that is sent to
you. In emergency situations, sealed source leak tests can
be analyzed immediately upon receipt and the results sent back to
you by fax or email in just a few hours. We operate under
Illinois Emergency Management Agency License
IL-01429-01 and are approved by Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission
R-116.
